Map Description:
This map shows the expansion of the Aghwan language during the time of the Caucasian Albanian kingdom, which existed between approximately 200 BC and 800 AD, and during the Islamic period until 1300 AD. Since the language has been so long extinct, the areas in which Aghwan is shown to have been spoken should be seen as only approximate. It also shows the present extent of the Udi language from 1800 AD, believed to be the last remnant of Aghwan.
